Happy Easter!

We spent our spring break in Utah! This is the last time we will be spending any time in the house I grew up in. I thought I would be be kind of sad and sentimental about it but after seeing the house my Parents are moving in to I am just so excited for them. I'm not sad at all. I'm just very excited that they get a brand new house and will be so much closer to us!! The kids got to spend some time with their Utah friends. It was the last time we will be up that way so it's going to be much harder for them to keep in touch. We are so excited that some of their friends have Saint George connections so we can keep in contact that way. I wanted to spend every second possible helping box things up. I won't be able to get back to Utah to help out before they move so I really appreciate my friends coming to my parents house to visit me. It was so important to me that I got to see them and they went out of their way to make that possible. Thank you so much girls.....your the BEST!!

The kids wanted to have their Easter with Uncle Shane. Britton and Shay asked if it would be ok if we had the Easter Bunny come early so they could make it special for Shane.
We colored a whole bunch of eggs.

And the next morning the Easter Bunny Came!! The kids picked out what they wanted in their baskets. That's why there is only candy.......
The kids spent two days making a scavenger hunt for Shane. They did a great job and I think Shane really enjoyed it. Of course he thought it was from the Easter Bunny so it was so much fun watching the kids pretend they were so surprised and helped Shane with everything.

Cutest kids ever!!
After the scavenger hunt inside the last note from the Easter Bunny sent Shane outside to look for the hidden eggs.
Shane found all but two. Chopper felt he needed to help out too.
Early Saturday morning we headed to Saint George to see my Parents new house. It isn't quite done but it is absolutely beautiful!! I'm so jealous. I can't wait until we get them completely moved in. I'm pretty sure I am going to want to be there every weekend!!
Saturday afternoon we headed back home. We wanted to do something fun for the kids for Easter since the excitement about the Easter Bunny is over. We decided to head to the lake. It was a beautiful day and we knew that Chopper would love it too.

We had a very busy but fun spring break. HaPpY EaStEr!!!

  1. I am so happy for your parents. I cant wait to see pic of their new house and yours. We have a St. George connection also so we will have to let you know when we are down there so you can meet up for dinner or something. I can't wait to meet your dog either, he is so stinkin cute.
