BCH Heatwave is hosting the State Championship swim meet this year so I volunteered to help out with the goodie bag stuffing. We have 900 swimmers coming from all over the State. So we have to make 900 bags.
While I was stuffing away the kids were making BCH signs to hang up around the pool to show our support for our team.
Britton even got in on the action.
Thank you LeeAnn for supplying the paint and paint brushes. This was so much fun for the kids and all of the posters turned out great!

State Championships, Here we come!!
These three beauty's have worked so hard to be part of the State swim team. And they did it!! I am so proud of all of them. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be where they are. What amazing kids!
Shayna will be swimming the 50 Breast stroke, 100 Breast stroke, 50 Butterfly, 100 Freestyle, 100 IM and the 50 Back stroke.
Shayna we are so proud of you. This is a huge accomplishment that has paid off by your hard work and dedication. I can't wait to see what happens at State!

Happy 1st Birthday Chopper!
It's hard to believe that Chopzilla is already one.
He loved his home made Birthday Cake.
And his new bone.
What a spoiled boy!

Happy Halloween!
The kids Pumpkins turned out really cute this year. We pretty much have to carve pumpkins last minute because it is still so warm here that the pumpkins rot within two days. CrAzY!
Britton went with a big nosed Cyclops.....
Shayna wanted the word Boo.......
We had to dress Chopper up for his first ever Halloween. He was Captain America. He walked all around the neighborhood with the kids and was so well behaved. I was so proud of him.
Shayna was a dark angel and Britton was a warewolf.
We invited the Kerner's to go Trick-or-Treating with us. We all went out for a while then came home for a drink and a snack then headed back out. They came home with so much candy.
We have NEVER had this much candy before. We even got some king sized candy bars. That's when the kids finally decided they LOVE our neighborhood......yay for that!

A day with the Allen's
The kids had the day off of school for staff development day but the Allen's had to work so they brought their kids to me at 7:30AM and we played ALL.DAY.LONG. And had so much fun doing so.
The girls had a tea party......
And snuggled with Chopper.......
The boys played the Xbox pretty much the whole time. I didn't get any pictures but we picked up some pizza and drinks and went to the park to play. That is where Britton killed his soccer ball juggling record. He is now up to 309. So impressive.
At 5:00pm the Allen's came and picked up all of the kids and took them Trunk-or-Treating and then kept them for a sleep over.
They had so much fun and played and played and played. Britton and Shay were exhausted by the time they got home but they love being with the Allen's. They are such an amazing family. Thank you Allen's for taking the kids....they had a blast!
Tyler and I had all kinds of plans since we didn't have the kids for a whole night. But, Ty got sick. He was so miserable. We ended up getting Chinese food to go and went home and watched TV. How exciting is that.......

A visit from the Nunez's
It's so much fun when we get to hang out with the Nunez's. Val decided she wanted to come to Vegas for her Birthday so they canceled their big Halloween party and came to visit us...Yay!!
We spent some time on Freemont Street. You see a lot of strange things on Freemont Street but you also get to see some pretty amazing things. I love watching the street performers. The kids had a great time too. How can you not when you can get fried twinkies and fried oreo cookies. Yummy!
Luis would fit right in........
Tournament of Kings. We were the Dragons so we got to be Evil! The kids had so much fun. They thought it was so weird that we couldn't use utensils and had to eat with our hands.
After the show we got to meet our favorite actor. He was so creepy I was shocked Shayna would pose with him. But he was very nice to her so she felt better about it.
It was definitely a fun weekend. I can't wait to see the Nunez family again.....I miss them already!

This weekend was all about keeping it kid friendly so we decided to take the kids to Tournament of Kings. We had a little time before the show started so we stopped by the arcade.
